The Public Transparency Monitoring Report of China's Provincial Power Grid Companies (2016) conducted a research and analysis on the transparency management of 34 provincial power grid companies from the dimensions of disclosure content, demand response, and information form, and pointed out the five major aspects of transparency management for power companies Highlights and five deficiencies, and through specific analysis of various dimensions and sub-indices to find the strengths and deficiencies of each grid company, and proposed improvements and directions for grid companies to improve transparency management.

Provincial power grid companies that disclose information on customer service channels, business outlets information, payment channels, special group services, electricity prices, electricity tariff policy descriptions, and power outage announcements have almost reached a high level. Actively promote low-carbon environmental protection in the process of power grid construction, operation and maintenance, and actively cooperate with customers to promote energy-saving on the power consumption side.
